Shipping and Returns
Made to Order
: At kve.gallery, every artwork is "made to order," meaning it is specifically created for you once you place your order. As a result, we do not accept refunds, returns, or exchanges for orders. If you realize an error with your order, please contact us immediately at support@kve.gallery.
Damaged in Transit
While rare, if any product in your order arrives damaged during transit by our shipping partners, please send detailed, clearly visible photos of the damage, including images of the packaging, to [contact email]. kve.gallery may choose to restore or replace the damaged product(s) following a review of the photos ("Damage Review"). By requesting a Damage Review, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Photos of damage must be received by kve.gallery no later than seventy-two (72) hours after the indicated delivery date provided by the shipping provider.
A Damage Review may take a minimum of thirty (30) business days to complete, and kve.gallery may choose to repair or replace the damaged product(s) at its discretion.
The delivery of a replacement product, if applicable, will depend on current manufacturing capacity, inventory availability, shipping timing, and you may be responsible for return shipping costs if kve.gallery opts to repair or replace the product(s).
Important Notes on Framing
At KvE.gallery, we've decided not to include frames with our prints as a general policy. We believe that framing is such a unique decision that it's best left to the individual taste of our clients. However, we do offer framing help on a case-by-case basis, depending on the client's location. We're always happy to assist with larger pieces. If you need assistance or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us. Quite simply, our framing partner, pictureframes.com, offers a wide range of frames in different styles, sizes, and price points to suit every budget. From sleek, modern frames to more traditional or custom designs, you'll find the perfect match for your artwork. By partnering with pictureframes.com, we ensure our clients have access to high-quality frames that complement their personal tastes, without compromising on quality. If pictureframes.com isn’t available in your area, we recommend visiting a local framer to explore your options firsthand. The framing of each piece plays a significant role and is a highly individual choice, adding to the overall artistic expression. Although we can offer suggestions, we respect that your preferences for design and cost may vary. For this reason, we choose not to select the frame for you, which also streamlines the process and reduces shipping costs. Regardless, we're here to assist you with any questions. We work closely with a variety of framers, and in many cases, particularly within the U.S., we can refer you to online or local framers who can meet your specific needs. Simple black, white, or natural wood frames always let the image shine, but some of our favorite works stand out because of the unique frame choices. Color, pattern, texture—there is no wrong way to frame the art you love. Choose what makes you feel good.
Size matters
In our own art series, the sizes listed always include a white border, so the final size is ready for framing as-is. This means you don't necessarily need to purchase a white mat for your frame, as the artwork has a white border already. However, many collectors still prefer to add a mat even if the piece has a border—it's totally up to your taste and how you want the artwork to be presented. Floating is a beautiful option that lifts or floats artwork slightly from the wall, adding depth and interest to the piece simply by adding a bit of space.
Should I Use a Custom Framer?
You may feel comfortable framing your own artwork or even creating a frame yourself. If you decide to go with a professional, we recommend finding a local framer so you can see multiple samples in person. Often, framers offer free consultations and can provide options you may not have considered based on their experience. If you aren’t familiar with local framers, Avant Art offers a list of vetted framers across the globe. That may be a good place to start.
Make It Archival
Standard mat and mounting boards contain acids, which can deteriorate a work’s colors and essence over time. It's essential to ask if the materials being used in the framing process are archival, especially if this frame will be the artwork's forever home. Most framers offer this, ensuring that no materials or chemicals are used that could affect the longevity of your artwork. It's also a good idea to discuss the handling of your artwork for future options, should you ever want to change the frame
